Beans and Corn Salsa

Beans and Corn Salsa

Recipe makes: 10 servings
Ingredients:
1. 4 tablespoons of chopped fresh cilantro.
2. 1 onion, peeled and chopped.
3. 2 whole wheat pitas.
4. Juice of ½ lime.
5. 1 cup frozen corn kernels, defrosted
6. 1 can low-sodium black beans, drained and rinsed.
7. 1.5 cups of chopped fresh tomatoes.
8. 1 can/4 ounces diced chilies (optional)




Equipment (for ease):
1. Large bowl for mixing
2. A knife and cutting board
3. Measuring cups and spoons

Instructions:
1. First of all, make ready all the ingredients as mentioned above.
2. Then combine all the ingredients in a big bowl and mix well.
3. After that toast the pita.
4. Your dish is ready and serve each ½ cup portion with ¼ of a pita.
